Informations for pilgrims

 

Individuals and groups of pilgrims are welcome to join services in Cathedral of St Vít, Václav and Vojtěch. Pilgrims are welcome in the cathedral anytime during the day in opening hours, where they can visit sacred places and the graves of our saints and rest there in prayers.

 

There is a posibility for groups of pilgrims with their own priest to celebrate holy mass in the cathedral during the day in the Choir chaple. The capacity of the Choir chaple is 40 seats and the holy mass has to be arranged in advance. In the case of your interest please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Mgr. Václav Soukup or father JCLic. We would like to remind that the serve mass in the cathedral during the day on a different place then in the above mentioned Choir chaple is not possible.

April – October                     9:00 – 18:00   (the last admission in 17:40)

November – December           9:00 – 16:00    (the last admission in 15:40)

 

The Big South Tower

The Big South Tower is closed for technical reasons.

 

We would like to inform all visitors that  Cathedral of st. Vít, Václav and Vojtěch belongs under the special security rules of the residence of the president of the Czech republic and therefore the opening hours in the cathedral can be restrict anytime during the day according to special needs.

Parking in the area of Prague Castle

Parking near Prague Castle is not generally recommended because of the very few parking places near-by. If you in spite of that decide to come by car the closest paid parking is near the tram station number 22 „Pražský hrad“ „Prague Castle“.
